If you like what you see on our website, please take a look at our Goodness of Fit Self-Assessment. If you find that you agree with the statements and think you’re a good fit for Forest Glen Coho, let us know. We’ll invite you to an Info Session and, if you’re local or visiting the area, schedule a time to meet with you and take you on a site visit.
If you take the Self-Assessment and disagree with any of the statements but are still interested in Forest Glen Coho, we suggest you contact us to schedule a time to discuss your concerns. Forest Glen Coho may not be a good match for you.
After attending an Info Session and visiting our site, the next step is to become an Explorer. This allows you to engage more deeply with our community, participate in discussions, and determine even more if Forest Glen at Highland Lake is the right fit for you.
We welcome those who share our vision and values for intentional living. A good fit includes a commitment to cohousing principles, the ability to purchase a lot and build a house, and a willingness to contribute time and energy to the community’s development.
As of early Dec. 2025, Real Places, LLC took on the horizontal development of the site of Forest Glen’s future community at Highland Lake. They are offering us nine half-acre lots on three contiguous parcels of land. Our LLC will purchase the parcels (with CC&Rs and HOA attached) and sell them (transfer ownership) to individual members. Owner Members will finance the construction of their house on their individual lot (following CC&R guidelines). Outside the building envelopes of each home will be common areas owned by our LLC and shared by all members. A Letter of Intent (LOI) to purchase the parcels for our community has been submitted and we are currently working with real estate attorneys to form an LLC, HOA, and CC&Rs.
