Our Vision and Mission Statements are the bedrock of our community, uniting us with a shared purpose and a deep sense of responsibility. They inspire us to build a strong, supportive, and thriving community where everyone plays a vital role in shaping our collective future.

Neighborhoods are intentionally designed, built, and inhabited in ways that are ecologically sustainable, encourage community-building, and nurture the wellbeing of children, adults of all ages, and the natural world upon which we all depend.

  • Our mission is to create an intentional neighborhood that demonstrates a strong ethic of environmental sustainability and stewardship, following building and living practices that support rather than destroy Nature's ecological systems. Feeling part of a supportive community is of utmost importance to our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. In order to foster meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging and connectedness, we strive to be open-minded and mutually respectful, employ communication and decision-making practices that are inclusive and appreciative of each individual's unique contribution to the whole, and participate in collaborative work projects, play, and celebrations.

Our Shared Values shape every decision we make, fostering collaboration and creating a community where everyone feels included and connected. By embracing and openly sharing these principles, we strengthen our unity and attract those who align with our vision, ensuring a vibrant and supportive environment for all.

  • Sociocracy, also known as "Dynamic Governance," is our collaborative governance model. It is non-hierarchical, ensuring shared decision-making where all voices are heard, and everyone actively participates and contributes. Transparency and accountability are essential, fostering an environment of open communication and mutual trust. Membership is based on agreement, with a strong emphasis on candid dialogue, gratitude, and continuous learning. By taking shared responsibility for building a cohesive community, everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
